Have you met our new payment kiosk?

Hey there from the innovative Pacific Café!
I know many of you have been down and have noticed the cool technology we have added, including vibrant digital signage as well as our ultra-convenient payment kiosk pod!

Some of you brave souls have ventured out to try the new kiosks and have been enjoying the convenience and capability the kiosks offer. However, understandably others have expressed difficulty in the process or nervousness with the new technology. Let me be the first to say, there is a small learning curve involved, but after a few times, it will be as easy as hitting “brew” on the breakroom coffee machine.

Here are some insider tips:

SCANNER
All Pepsi, Coke and bottled beverages can be scanned. Just make sure to line the barcode up with the “x” on the scanner and be careful not to accidentally scan the “QR code”, which is not readable with our scanner.  Also scan able are the bagged chips, GF cookies, Shakti bars, ice cream bars and soon to be other items! So be on the lookout for updates.
GRAB AND GO SCREEN
You can find almost anything in the coolers, that are non-beverage on the grab and go screen including salads, mixed boxes, hard-boiled eggs and sandwiches.
BEVERAGE SCREEN
Smoothies have their own button and juice is from the dispenser!
Fountain beverages and refills are there as well as draft Kombucha and Nitro Cold Brew.

Action: Previous “Fire and Spice”
Tossed: Salads Too – you have special options as well as the regular static offerings. Regular is small or half and whole is large
Hearth: Pizza station
Built: Deli Sandwich area
Kettles: Soups
Fresh: Salad Bar

Just because our kiosk is cashier-less does not mean we’ve lost the human touch. We are here to help and will always have cashiers available to assist you. I am also generally on the floor to help support in answering any questions you have during the breakfast and lunch hours, so absolutely do not hesitate to ask any question at all.
